Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms are an agreement between you and Resumar about how the service may be used.
By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using Resumar, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your information. If you do not agree to them, please do not use the service.
If you are using Resumar on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms for it.
Eligibility
You may use Resumar only if you can form a binding contract with us and are not barred from doing so under applicable law.
Resumar does not set a minimum age or any other eligibility requirement of its own beyond this.
If you do not meet this requirement, you may not create an account or use the service.
Your Resumar Account
Creating an account. Resumar accounts are created by signing in with a Google account, or by requesting a passwordless email sign-in link. If you use Google, your use of that account is also governed by Google's own terms.
Accurate information. The account details you give us should be accurate and kept up to date. This does not restrict what you may write in your own documents — a résumé is yours to draft as you see fit — but the account itself should identify you correctly.
Keeping your account secure. Access to Resumar depends on access to the account you sign in with, so keeping that account secure is your responsibility.
Activity on your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account, including documents created, links shared and purchases made, except to the extent it results from our own failure.
Unauthorised access. If you believe someone has gained access to your account without your permission, tell us promptly at info@resumar.com so we can help secure it.
Your Content
You own your content.
Your résumés, cover letters, professional information and anything else you write or upload remain yours. Using Resumar does not transfer ownership of your content to us, and we do not claim any right to it beyond what is needed to run the service for you.
To provide the service you have asked for, we need a limited permission to handle your content — specifically, to store, process, copy, transmit, format and display it so that we can save your work, render it on screen, produce a document you can export, and show it to the people you choose to share it with.
That permission is limited to operating the service, lasts only as long as we hold the content, and ends when you delete the content or close your account, subject to the retention described in our Privacy Policy. It does not let us publish your content, sell it, or use it to promote Resumar.
Your responsibility for what you write. You confirm that you have the right to provide the content you upload, and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights or break any law.

AI-Assisted Features
Some Resumar features may use automated or AI-assisted technology to help generate or improve content. AI-generated suggestions may contain errors, omissions, or inaccurate information. Users are responsible for reviewing and verifying content before using it in a resume, cover letter, job application, or other professional context.
Today this applies to importing an existing résumé: the file you upload is read by an AI model and converted into editable sections. The conversion is an interpretation of your document, not a guaranteed reproduction of it — dates, employers, titles and wording should be checked before you rely on the result.
Documents you write in Resumar are not processed by an AI model as part of writing them.
Plans, Payments and Access
Résumé access
Creating, editing, saving and downloading a résumé or cover letter does not require a purchase and does not require an active Pro period. You need to be signed in to keep a document on your account. An expired Pro period does not delete your documents and does not stop you from opening, editing, saving or downloading them.
Collaboration share links
Creating a new collaboration share link still requires an active Pro period already recorded on the account. That requirement does not apply to creating, editing, saving or downloading your own documents. A link opens only the document it was made for.
Payments already made
Resumar does not offer a new purchase for creating or downloading a résumé. A payment already recorded on an account was a one-time payment. It is not a subscription. Nothing renews automatically, no recurring charge is taken, no payment mandate or standing instruction is created, and no card is stored for future use.
Payments are processed by our payment provider. We do not receive or store your card, UPI or bank details.
Refunds
Automatic refunds. Resumar refunds a payment automatically only when that payment cannot legitimately be applied to your Pro access. For example:
- you already had active Pro access when the payment was made
- the payment was captured for an incorrect amount or in an incorrect currency
- the payment is a duplicate that cannot legitimately grant another Pro period
In these cases the payment does not grant Pro access, and it is refunded in full.
No discretionary refunds. Once a payment has successfully granted Pro access, it is not refunded. This includes, for example, a request made because you did not use Pro, because time remains on a period a past payment opened, or because you stop using Resumar or close your account.
Questions about a payment or a refund can be sent to info@resumar.com.
Taxes
There is no charge for creating, editing, saving or downloading a résumé or cover letter. A payment already recorded was the total amount captured for that order.
Intellectual Property
What Resumar owns
Resumar and its licensors own the product itself and everything we bring to it, including:
- The Resumar software and platform technology
- The product interface, layouts and templates
- The visual design and design system
- The Resumar name, logo, branding and trademarks
Nothing in these Terms transfers any of that to you. You are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the product as it is offered, in line with these Terms.
What you own
You own what you bring and what you write, including:
- Your résumé content
- Your professional and career information
- Your cover-letter content
- Any other content you create or upload
The document you export is yours to use however you wish, including for any commercial purpose.
Third-Party Services
Resumar relies on services operated by other companies in order to work:
- Supabase — the database, authentication, file storage and server functions behind the product
- Google — sign-in, and the typeface loaded through Google Fonts
- OpenAI — reading an existing résumé you choose to import, as described above
- Razorpay — processing payments
These services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we do not control them. We are not responsible for their availability, their content, or how they operate, and interruptions in those services may affect Resumar.
No Employment Guarantee
Resumar helps you present your experience. It does not guarantee an outcome.
Resumar provides tools designed to help users create resumes and cover letters. We do not guarantee employment, interviews, recruiter responses, or any particular professional outcome.
How an application is received depends on the employer, the role, the market and your own experience — none of which we control. Guidance offered in the product, including formatting and structure suggestions, is general in nature and is not career, legal or immigration advice.
Service Availability
We work to keep Resumar available and dependable, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability. The service may be unavailable or degraded during maintenance, updates, faults, or problems with the third-party services it depends on.
We may also change, add, suspend or discontinue features. Where a change materially reduces what the service does, we will make reasonable efforts to give notice.
Because no online service is immune to loss, we recommend keeping your own copy of any document that matters to you — every document can be exported as a PDF.
Disclaimers
Resumar is provided as a tool to help you write and format your own documents. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that it will meet your requirements, or that any document produced with it will be accepted by any employer, recruiter or applicant-tracking system.
You are responsible for reviewing your documents and for the accuracy of what they say about you.
[Final legal disclaimer — to be reviewed]
Limitation of Liability
[Final limitation of liability clause — to be reviewed]
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Termination
By you. You may stop using Resumar at any time and close your account.
By us. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if your use puts the service, other users or us at risk, or where we are required to do so by law. Where it is reasonable and lawful to do so, we will give notice and, for something that can be put right, an opportunity to do so.
What happens to your content. When an account ends, the documents in it stop being accessible through Resumar and are deleted or anonymised in line with our Privacy Policy. Share links issued from that account stop working. Export anything you want to keep before closing your account.
Provisions that by their nature should survive — content ownership, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability and governing law — continue to apply after termination.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as the product and its legal requirements change. When we do, we revise the Last updated date shown at the top and bottom of this page.
If a change is material, we will take reasonable steps to bring it to your attention before it takes effect. Continuing to use Resumar after an update means the revised Terms apply to you; if you do not accept them, you should stop using the service.
Governing Law
These Terms, and any dispute arising out of them or out of your use of Resumar, are governed by: [Governing law and jurisdiction — not yet decided]
Any mandatory consumer protections available to you where you live are unaffected by this.
